API 607 and API 6FA are fire resistance tests for valves 6D and 6A. Generally, 6D valves that can only rotate 90 ° require API 607, while others require API 6FA. API stands for American Petroleum Institute, while 6FA is a fire test for 6A standard valves.

Assessment of diameter and pressure values for valve fire resistance test:

In the fire resistance test of valves, the diameter and pressure values are covered by the minimum specification over the larger specification, for example:

The general diameter covers twice its size, with 6NPS covering 6-12NPS and 100DN covering 100-200DN;

And for the evaluation of pressure ratings, the coverage range is also specified, with 25PN covering 25-40PN

Handling of valve fire resistance test:

The valve fire resistance test requires the enterprise to send samples to the testing laboratory, and then our certified physician conducts witness testing. After a 30 minute combustion test, a test certificate is issued. If it does not meet the requirements, a new sample test is required. If it meets the requirements, we will issue a certificate.
