New Elevator LIFT Certification 2014/33/EU "Elevator Directive" (hereinafter referred to as LIFT Directive) is an EU directive on elevator safety. The EU conducts EU qualification review on safety components and products of vertical ladders in accordance with the LIFT directive.  

In Europe, elevator safety components can only be put on the market if they have the CE mark and are accompanied by an EC conformity declaration. The acquisition of the CE mark follows the EC type test for safety components (new elevator directive 2014/33/EU).

1. Door lock device, if necessary, the door lock device of the car door

2. Safety pliers

3. Instantaneous (roller and wedge)

4. Progressive approach

5. Safety pliers to prevent upstream overspeed

6. Speed limiter

7. Buffer

8. Spring buffer

9. Energy consuming buffer

10. Rubber buffer

11. Hydraulic buffer

12. Break valve (when used as a safety clamp)

13. Electrical safety circuit

14. Elevator Whole Elevator

Safety assessment mode based on EC type testing:

EC type inspection (Attachment V - Mode B)+random inspection of final product (Attachment XI - Mode C)

EC Type Inspection (Attachment V - Mode B)+Product Quality Assurance (Attachment XI - Mode E)

Safety assessment model based on quality assurance system:

Comprehensive Quality Control (Appendix IX - Mode H): Elevator safety components that have obtained EC type approval and meet the basic requirements of LIFT Directive and coordination standards EN81-1/EN81-2 in the design, production, and inspection stages can apply for an EC certificate for comprehensive quality control mode.

Safety assessment model based on quality assurance system:

Total Quality Control (Attachment XIII - Mode H): Elevators that have obtained EC type approval and meet the basic requirements of the LIFT Directive and the coordination standards EN81-1/EN81-2 in the design, production, and inspection stages can apply for an EC certificate for the Total Quality Control mode.
