RCD Yacht Directive Recreational Craft Device 2013/53/EU "recreational yacht" refers to any type of vessel with a total length ranging from 2.5m to 24m, regardless of the propulsion method used. Used for sports or leisure purposes.

Yacht category:

Category A - Marine type

The ship is designed for long-term maritime navigation, capable of withstanding wind speeds of 8 or above and waves of 4 meters or more, and most of the ship's supplies are self-sufficient.

Category B - Offshore type

The ship is designed for sea navigation and can withstand sea conditions with wind speeds up to and including level 8 and wave heights up to and including 4 meters.

Category C - Coastal type

Ships are designed for nearshore waters, large bays, bay mouths, lakes, and river basins. Capable of withstanding wind speeds up to and including level 6 and wave heights up to and including 2 meters.

Category D - Protective type

The ship is designed for small lakes, rivers, and canals, capable of withstanding wind speeds up to level 4 and wave heights up to 0.5 meters on the water surface.

In addition, each model of ship must be designed and manufactured to meet relevant requirements such as stability, buoyancy characteristics, and other necessary performance requirements (specific products have specific requirements).

RCD Yacht Directive Product Range:

A ship with a captain between 2.5 and 24 meters for sports and recreational purposes (which can be rented or used for recreational training). In addition, it also includes spare parts on board, which are:
